Elvira Jude Return & Exchange Policy

At Elvira Jude, we are committed to ensuring that every piece you receive meets our high standards of quality, craftsmanship, and elegance. However, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a structured return and exchange policy to ensure a smooth resolution. Please read our policy thoroughly before initiating a return.

1. Eligibility for Returns

Customers may request a return for most items within 7 days of delivery. However, to be eligible, the following conditions must be met:

  • The item must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition.
  • All tags, labels, and packaging must be intact and undamaged.
  • The item must not be a custom, altered, or made-to-order piece.
  • The item must not fall under non-returnable categories (see section 2).

For international orders, the return request must be submitted within 7 days, and the item must be shipped back within 14 days of delivery.

2. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are not eligible for return or exchange. These include:

  • Made-to-measure, custom or personalized items
  • Intimates or bodysuits for hygiene reasons
  • Sale or discounted items marked as final sale
  • Gift cards

3. Return Window

  • Local (Nigeria): Returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery.
  • International: Return requests must be made within 7 days, and items returned within 14 days.

Late return requests will not be honored, and any unapproved returns may be refused or returned to sender.

4. Refund, Exchange or Store Credit

At Elvira Jude, we prioritize ensuring a seamless experience while preserving the exclusivity of our pieces. As such:

  • Store Credit is our default method for resolving eligible returns. Customers will receive a digital voucher equal to the value of the returned item (excluding shipping), valid for 6 months.
  • Exchange is available for items of equal value, depending on stock availability. Customers are encouraged to initiate exchange requests promptly to ensure preferred sizes or styles are still in stock.
  • Cash Refunds are only processed in exceptional circumstances, such as:
    • The item delivered was damaged or defective.
    • The customer received a completely different item from what was ordered.
    • A return was approved but the item ordered is no longer available, and an exchange or store credit is not acceptable to the customer.

      All refunds (when applicable) will be processed using the original payment method and may take:
  • 5 - 7 business days for local (Nigerian) orders
  • 10 - 15 business days for international orders

Elvira Jude reserves the right to determine what qualifies as an exceptional circumstance and will always act in fairness to the customer while protecting the integrity of the brand.

5. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless the item was defective, damaged, or incorrect.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, especially for international returns. Elvira Jude is not responsible for lost or undelivered returned items.

6. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item:

  • Contact our customer support within 48 hours of receiving the item.
  • Provide clear images of the item showing the damage, defect, or incorrect delivery.
  • Once reviewed, we will provide a return label and instructions.
  • You may be eligible for a full refund, store credit, or exchange depending on availability and preference.

7. How to Initiate a Return

  • Email our Customer Experience team at returns@elvirajude.com with your order number, reason for return, and images (if applicable).
  • Await confirmation and return authorization.
  • Ship the item according to provided instructions.
  • Once we receive and inspect the return, your store credit or exchange will be processed within 3-5 business days.

8. Additional Notes

  • We do not accept returns delivered without prior approval.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • We reserve the right to deny returns that do not comply with this policy.
